From wind turbines on Haeckel Hill to solar installations in Old Crow and the Kivalliq region, Indigenous communities and partners are leading the way in building clean, locally powered, and resilient energy systems.

The article explores how these projects are not only helping reduce diesel dependence but also strengthening energy security, economic independence, and national sovereignty in remote regions.
