Gwynne Dyer is one of the world’s most respected independent voices on global affairs. A Canadian-born historian with a PhD in military and Middle Eastern history, Dyer has built a decades-long career as a journalist, syndicated columnist, broadcaster, and lecturer. His work has appeared in more than 175 newspapers across 45 countries, and he is widely known for his clear, insightful analysis of international security, climate change, and the human challenges of a rapidly changing world.

This special event will bring Dyer’s global perspective to the Arctic context, sparking conversation on how climate change is reshaping the North and what it means for Nunavummiut. All are welcome to attend.
